Who would we promise the stars to?
I sat there with Candy looking at the brightest star
held each other with longing and curious desire
we were once one and now so close but forever far
but in our minds we know we can never relight that fire
everyone wants their carefree life back again
like me knowing that there isn't any future with Candy
but now everyone is cold, hard and cruel just to gain
Wish for childlike innocence but life is not just as dandy
we counted the stars and counted the couples left and right
and pairs of lovely love birds everywhere seem limitless
just like the twin-stars twinkling in the cold dark eventide
just the two of us oddballs walking around aimless... loveless
everyone told us in the end, we WILL see the covenanted light
but all we see around us is just the solemnly spurned twilight
-k
I wonder around town and frown
check all those I had let right down
shall we all go flinging and flying unbound
but I cannot hear that melody sound
We all have our cute up and downs
sorrows never able to be drowned
screams of the untold pain and woe
getting sober will not bring me up so
Beautifully dead and morbid
I see only lovely crumbling of life's blood
short snaps memories of candies
shall you come right back or let me flood
You said you'll watch over me slaughter
but all that happens is a withered falter
